Pascal's Law | Physic

Pascal’s Law (Hukum Pascal) states that pressure applied to a confined fluid is transmitted undiminished to every portion of the fluid and the walls of the container.

Pascal’s law in English
“A change in pressure applied to a fluid contained in a closed vessel is transmitted undiminished to all parts of the fluid and the walls of the container.”

Basic pressure formula (Pascal’s Law)
The basic definition of pressure used in Pascal’s Law is:
where:
[P] = pressure (in pascal, Pa),
[F] = force applied (in newton, N),
[A] = area over which the force is applied (in square meter, m²).
where:
[F_1] = force on the small piston,
[F_2] = force on the large piston,
[A_1] = area of the small piston,
[A_2] = area of the large piston.
In short, Pascal’s Law in English: pressure is equal everywhere in a closed fluid, and the key formula is [P = F/A] or [F_1/A_1 = F_2/A_2] for hydraulic systems.
