Gold
Gold (Au) is the most iconic precious metal, prized for its luster and resistance to tarnish. It's widely used in jewelry, investment bars, and electronics due to high conductivity. 
Silver
Silver (Ag) offers excellent reflectivity and the highest electrical conductivity among metals. Commonly applied in coins, tableware, solar panels, and photography. 

Platinum
Platinum (Pt) is denser and rarer than gold, with superior strength and corrosion resistance. It's essential for catalytic converters, medical devices, and high-end jewelry. 

Palladium
Palladium (Pd), a platinum-group metal, is lightweight and hypoallergenic. Key in automotive catalysts, electronics, and hydrogen purification technologies. 

Rhodium
Rhodium (Rh) provides a brilliant white shine and extreme hardness. Often electroplated on jewelry and used in catalytic converters for emissions control.
