Bandrek Drink

Bandrek is a traditional Indonesian hot drink that is usually explained in English as:
“Bandrek is a traditional hot, sweet, and spicy beverage from the Sundanese people of West Java, Indonesia.” 

What bandrek is
It is a warming drink commonly consumed in cool weather, during rain, or at night to keep the body warm. 

The main ingredients are ginger, palm sugar, and spices such as cinnamon, cloves, star anise, and sometimes black pepper.
