The Strongest Glue in the World

The strongest glue in the world is DELO MONOPOX HT2860, a heat-curing epoxy resin made by the German company DELO. It holds the Guinness World Record for the strongest adhesive.
Key facts:
Weight lifted: 17.5 tons (38,580 lbs)
Amount of glue used: Just 3 grams
Bonding area: 39.8 cm² (about the size of a soft drink can)

Record date: July 12, 2019
Technology: Modified high-temperature-resistant epoxy resin that forms a dense cross-linked network when heat-cured
To demonstrate this record, a 10-wheel truck loaded with concrete slabs was bonded at the wheels to lifters using only 3 grams of the adhesive, then lifted 40 meters into the air. The truck hung for one hour at 1 meter height without failing.

Important distinction:
"Strongest" depends on the application. For consumer use, cyanoacrylates (like Super Glue or Krazy Glue) offer the strongest bond relative to volume for many everyday materials, while epoxies like DELO MONOPOX HT2860 are strongest for industrial structural applications requiring high strength, flexibility, and chemical resistance
