What is Acrylic Needed


To apply acrylic nails you generally need three things:

Materials
Acrylic powder (often nude, white, and clear).
Monomer (acrylic liquid/“glue”).
Nail primer or bonding agent, and nail prep/dehydrator.

Tools
Nail tips or nail forms.
Nail glue (for tips) and an acrylic brush.
Dappen dish for the monomer, files, buffers, and cuticle tools.

Basic process
Shape and prep the natural nail.
Mix powder and monomer into a bead and sculpt it onto the nail.
File and buff into your desired shape, then apply top coat for shine and protection.
